Jun 7, 2019 · This scripture is found in Psalm 119:105. This scripture was mentioned in a comment and I thought it would make a great lesson on it's own. There are so many lessons that could be used with this theme. It can be adapted to almost any age. There are plain printables included to create your own! So many ideas kept coming while I created this lesson.
Step 1 – Write Out The Verse. The first step in verse mapping is to write out the full verse of passage of scripture. You may be tempted to just write the verse name/chapter in the block, but scripture memorization is important. Step 2 – Compare Translations.

LESSON OVERVIEW. Key Point: Jesus is the light who guides us. Repeat this phrase throughout the lesson. Bible Story: John 10:7-15. Challenge Verse: John 8:12—Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Turn out the lights so that the room is dark (if the class has windows plan to cover so that the room is dark). Now ask the children to continue making their list. It is now a very hard thing to do. Explain to the children that today we will be talking about darkness and light. As believers in Jesus we are to walk in the light.
