Tuscaloosa ( / ˌtʌskəˈluːsə / TUS-kə-LOO-sə) is a city in and the seat of Tuscaloosa County in west-central Alabama, United States,  on the Black Warrior River where the Gulf Coastal and Piedmont plains meet. Alabama's fifth-largest city, it had an estimated population of 101,129 in 2019.
August 10, 2022. As part of its Elevate Tuscaloosa initiative, the City of Tuscaloosa is hosting a community engagement event to seek public feedback for improvements to Lake Nicol and Harris Lake. The come-and-go event will be held on August 22 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Phelps Activity Center.
