Synopsis. In East London, during the lead up to the Olympics, a teenage boy is gunned down outside a nightclub and a young girl dies in a hit and run in two seemingly unrelated deaths. Deeva Jani, a Paris-based fashion executive, returns home to clear her brother Vipon of the shooting and soon discovers a much deeper conspiracy.

Co-written by Paul Abbot (State Of Play), Twenty8k looks and feels like a TV drama, and is peppered with familiar faces from the small screen. The storyline holds the attention, although might have been more plausible had Deeva been a journalist rather than a fashion executive, but it lacks a cinematic feel to warrant a big screen outing.
