Sep 7, 2019 · Since version 2.1.0, the Twilight Forest mod has a system in place designed to set your adventures in the dimension along a path. The various boss-centered towers and dungeons are set in an order, and finishing one step will unlock the next step. One can check their progression using the Advancements screen.
All of these monsters each have their own major Twilight Forest Landmark which is visible on a Magic Map. In recent versions of the mod there is a planned progression system, and attempts to fight the bosses out of order will be actively blocked by various offensive and defensive measures.
For anyone who had the same issues as me with progressing in the forest, here is the order in which you need to complete things. First: Find the naga maze and the lich tower, and defeat both of these bosses. Neither of these have biome “curses” as they are beginner level bosses.
