Universal Studios Japan (ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパン) is a theme park located in Osaka, Japan. Opened on March 31, 2001, it is one of six Universal Studios theme parks worldwide and was the first to open outside the United States. The park is owned and operated by USJ LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of NBCUniversal.

- Download the USJ app before you go. With its throng of parades, performances, high-speed rides and 4D experiences, USJ draws enormous crowds every day of the year, which can often result in staggering wait times.
- Make sure you get a free timed entry ticket to the popular attractions. The park is divided into ten areas: Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Minion Park, Universal Wonderland, Hollywood, New York, San Francisco, Jurassic Park, Amity Village, and WaterWorld.
- Super Nintendo World. The world’s first Super Nintendo World is easily USJ’s most sought-after attraction. The section houses rides like Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge and Yoshi's Adventure, but with its careful attention to detail and cleverly designed interactive elements, the Super Nintendo World area is an attraction in and of itself.
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. You've read the books, you've seen the films, and now you can explore the Wizarding World in real life. Complete with an impressively detailed model of Hogwarts Castle, the Hogwarts Express and an array of shops to explore in the Hogsmeade village, this area in USJ will make you feel like you’ve stepped into the magical universe of Harry Potter.
The 3rd most-attended theme park in the world. Universal Studios Japan is one of just four Universal Studios theme parks around the globe. Opening in Osaka (Japan's third largest city) in 2001, it's more than double the size of its nearest neighbour Universal Studios Singapore.
Universal Studios Japan offers world-class entertainment such as authentic attractions and shows, based not only on Hollywood blockbusters but also popular entertainment brands, and a variety of seasonal events entertaining its guests to the fullest.

- Hollywood. Hollywood is the first area after you enter the park through the main gate. You will find here many souvenir shops, cute cafes and restaurants.
- Amity Village. Amity Village will welcome you with a giant shark hanging down from its tail with its mouth wide open. It is an invitation for you to pose for pictures with your head in!
- Wizarding World of Harry Potter. My personal favorite part of the USJ was the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It is located behind the Amity Village, however, don’t expect a grand entrance right from the start!
- Super Nintendo World. Super Nintendo World is the newest addition to the USJ. It opened this year in March 2021 and it is located behind the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
