Urvashi Rautela was to represent India at Miss Universe 2012. However, due to contradicting contracts with her being Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International and also her not being able to meet up with the age requirements of the Miss Universe Organisation as of 16 October 2012 she resigned her title.
But the model-turned-actor was later dethroned as she was underage at that time of competing in the Miss Universe beauty pageant.
