Damon Salvatore is a redeemed antagonist, and the deuteragonist of The Vampire Diaries. After becoming a vampire, he became vengeful when Katherine chose Stefan over him. Promising his brother eternal misery, Damon would follow him, and see his brother deal with his blood lust.
