4. Try the diving bell. Back in the 17th century, divers were able to retrieve Vasa’s cannons from a depth of 30 metres using a diving bell. Go inside the diving bell, then imagine sinking to the bottom of the sea and seeing Vasa there. Fifth stop: Go up one flight of stairs, or take the lift (to floor 5).

The shop is stocked with products that all revolve around Vasa, the 1600s, and the Swedish king and queen of that time – Gustav II Adolf and Maria Eleonora. Many of the products are unique to the Vasa Museum and are replicas of objects found on board. You will find a selection of products below.
If you visit Stockholm then this museum is a must visit. The Vasa capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628 and after 300 years it was raised and is the world's only preserved 17th century ship. The museum itself is very well laid out and has English information panels. There is a lift between the various floor levels.

These include two original cannons, various tools and personal items from the crew, as well as other objects from the 17th century.
