Vibecke was born and raised in Stavanger, Norway. She moved to Oslo to study dance and earned her BA in dance pedagogy from the Norwegian College of Dance and a BA in sports coaching from The University of Sports. After teaching and choreographing in dance and musical theater she decided to spend 6 months to a year in New York for inspiration.
