Aug 2, 2022 · She left office on January 3, 2023. Hartzler ( Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Missouri. She lost in the Republican primary on August 2, 2022. Prior to her election to the U.S. House, Hartzler served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 1995 to 2001. [1]
