Jun 18, 2015 · The Victoria and Albert Museum or V&A is the single most unique display in the world. The ethos is to show people things that they would have travel to see. It dates back to the 1851 exhibition when countries showed off their wonders to Brits but could not return them. This ethos is still valid today.

There are several entrances: (1) the grand entrance on Cromwell Road; (2) the main entrance on Exhibition Road; and the pedestrian tunnel from the South Kensington tube stop. Hours: Open daily from 10:00 am to 5:45 pm. Tickets: Admission is free.

No. Your Membership card is your ticket to enter exhibitions. V&A South Kensington and Young V&A are open seven days a week, and Members do not need to book tickets for general admission or our special exhibitions. Last entry to special exhibitions on Monday – Thursday and Saturday – Sunday is 17.00. On Fridays the last entry is 21.00.
