Frogner Park (Norwegian: Frognerparken) is a public park in the central West End borough of Frogner in Oslo, Norway. The park is historically part of Frogner Manor and is Oslo's largest park, open to the public at all times.

Vigeland Park. The park is always open - see visitor information. The sculpture park is Gustav Vigeland's life work, comprising over 200 sculptures in granite, bronze and wrought iron. It was installed mainly in the period 1940-1949, but is nevertheless a result of over 40 years of work.
The city decides that the area east of the ponds, between Frognerveien and Middelthuns Gate, are to be laid out as a public park. The "old" part of the park is opened to the public in 1904.
The Monolith stands at the highest point in Vigeland Park, and measures 17 meters above ground. The sculpture is carved out of one stone block, hence the name. The stone was originally shot out of the quarry in Iddefjord, Norway, and transported to the park during the late 1920s.
Most of Vigeland’s works in Oslo are gathered in the Vigeland Sculpture Park and the Vigeland Museum. But you can also see three monuments created by Vigeland right in the city centre, all located near the Royal Palace.
