It’s easily reached by train from central Barcelona, which makes it an ideal day trip! I’ve personally visited Vilassar de Mar numerous times over the years, and it remains one of my favorite places to visit when I’m in Barcelona.

    Jul 2021 • Family. This is a local beach which is good for teens and smaller children alike. There is easy access via an underpass and the beach is clean and sandy, with a shower to wash off the sand at the end of the day. We also went to see the beautiful sunrise!
