Each pen is one of a kind – the translucent depth of the vegetal resin is enhanced by the amazing 18-faceted barrel. The fountain has Visconti’s large steel nib with Van Gogh’s signature. The Van Gogh series is available in fountain pen, rollerball and ballpen. All three modes are accompanied by a bookmark showing a detail of the painting.

Filling is by converter or standard International cartridge, which is a little disappointing; imagine how much ink a pen this size could contain with a piston!

I'm also a fan of Souvenir de Mauve as it reminds me of strawberry milkshakes. Unboxing: This pen arrived safely with its original packaging. The outside is a sleeve with the Visconti logo.
