Vivek made his Bollywood debut with the film Chocolate -Deep Dark Secrets (2005), and then went on to direct Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal (2007) and Hate Story (2012).

The film, which released last week, is written and directed by Agnihotri and stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi.
