Dr. Yang Wang is a research faculty in health economics and policy. His research interests include healthcare pricing and payment, health insurance market, and hospital finance.
This study investigated the effects of social-emotional competency on pupils’ academic achievement, academic emotions and attitudes, and interpersonal relationships. Participants were 7106 fourth-grade and fifth-grade students in western China.
Yang is a visiting professor in the Smead Aerospace Engineering Sciences Department. His research interests include developing GNSS receiver carrier tracking algorithms, using spaceborne GNSS measurements for the Earth’s atmosphere and surface sensing, and machine learning for the ionosphere and space weather monitoring and forecasting.
Dr. Yang’s research interests focus on understanding how school members interact with their ecological contexts to find their resilience individually and collectively when facing risks and adversities, such as bullying, teacher-targeted violence, and mental health challenges.
