Aug 4, 2013 · On 4th August 1557 merchant-taylor and diarist Henry Machyn recorded that there was a requiem mass for “my lady prenses of Cleyff” with a “godly sermon” by the Lord Abbot of Westminster. Her coffin was then taken to her tomb and her body interred with the cloth-of-gold laid over her.
She died there, six weeks before her 42nd birthday, and was interred at Westminster Abbey, the only one of Henry VIII's wives to be buried there. She holds the distinction of being the last of Henry VIII's six wives to die.

Jan 31, 2015 · For Anne’s part, she was content and happy and had little reason to be otherwise. She made her last public appearance at Mary Tudor’s coronation in 1553, riding alongside the Princess Elizabeth. She died in 1557 of a ‘declining illness’ and was buried with appropriate honor at Westminster Abbey.
She was buried in Westminster Abbey, on 3 August, in what has been described as a "somewhat hard-to-find tomb" on the opposite side of Edward the Confessor's shrine and slightly above eye level for a person of average height. Anne's epitaph in Westminster Abbey, which is in English, reads simply:
