Even if some area starts to get noticed for having a certain style ( think late 80’s/early 90’s Seattle / swinging London / Minneapolis in the late 70’s/ early 80’s) once the internet gets a whiff of any scene it’ll exploit it before it even has time to develop into a full fledged scene .
