Natalie was Monk’s (a detective) assistant and accompanied him to all crime scenes, so it makes perfect sense that she was involved and she helped in many cases too. To be fair, she wasn't making it about her, but about the pizza delivery guy. You're right,this is an unpopular opinion.

Spoilers ahead: Just finished watching "Mr. Monk goes to a Fashion Show", fun episode as usual however the drama between Natalie and Julie was so contrived. The entire conflict at the end wouldn't have happened if she had told her daughter that the Julian was the killer.

Apr 13, 2024 · Monk meets his nemesis (if he has one), Dale The Whale, a bed-ridden 800 pound predator (played by Alan Arkin in this episode) who is named as the killer on a 911 call by his victim. One of the most obvious episodes in the series, but a really nice bit concerning Monk and his wife, and the “I think he’s trying to kill me” bit is really funny.
