- Clio – Faces. Really getting into the thick of Italo now, Clio's Faces perfectly toes the line of cheese before things started getting really silly in the mid-80s.

Likewise, a lot of 90s pop, and particularly europop, is rooted in the scene. Artists like Daft Punk and Justice have cited Italo as among their main influences.

The song is the first exercise in bad taste on this list and a demonstration of how the traditional Italian medicine of “La Dolce Vita” can cure any sickness, except STD's.
