9. See the Faces from Grand View Terrace
The main viewpoint at Mount Rushmore and best place to see the president’s faces is from the Grand View Terrace. From this point you have clear, unobstructed views of the faces. While impressed by the memorial itself I must admit I found the faces themselves to appear a bit smaller than I expected. Maybe it’s the Hollywood effect?
