The Cannabis Act creates a strict legal framework for controlling the production, distribution, sale and possession of cannabis across Canada. The Act aims to accomplish 3 goals: keep cannabis out of the hands of youth.
Cannabis Regulations. The production of cannabis products by licence holders is subject to strict rules and standards, including limits on tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content, cannabidiol (CBD) specifications and the use of additives, as well as good production practices (GPP).
