  1. Just watched 'The odds'. I decided to post this because there had been alot of talk on this subreddit about torture porn. This movie most certainly is not that. The title and description may give you that impression but the "torture sequences" are mainly done with actor expressions and leaving alot to your imagination.

It is a decent entry in an oversaturated genre, and it goes the extra distance by attempting something other than lots of gun play and explosions.

  3. "The Odds" is an extremely low-budget film, with a tense and sick story of torture. Although the theatrical film with basically only one location, the movie is engaging and keeps the attention of the viewer. The performances are excellent, and the conclusion is predictable. But it is for very specific audiences. My vote is five.
