    • Dual Pistols
    • Port-A-Fortress
    • B.R.U.T.E. Mech
    • Drum Gun

Remember when you could wield two pistols at the same time? Dual Pistols were not exactly the Fortnite weapons of choice back then, and with good reason. Due to the randomness of their fire rate, it can sometimes lead to frustrating firefights. While other players like them, most players would rather opt for other types of Fortnite weapons instead. The Dual Pistols’ stay was fairly long in the Fortnite item shop before Epic Games decided to finally Vault it in the 9.3.0 patch update. We’re sure this weapon will have a second chance to redeem itself in the future, but for now, it’s just collecting dust in the Vault.

The Port-a-Fortress conjures fond memories for early Fortnite players. This item, once thrown, created a humongous structure in which you and your teammates could protect yourselves. If you’re the type of person that hates building, you’d probably love this if it were still in use. Unfortunately, the Port-a-Fortress was Vaulted early on in the game’s timeline during Fortnite’s 7.20 content patch. In a game where inventory space is limited, it just wasn’t a hit with the players since the extra space could be used to house other useful items like medkit or extra Fortnite weapons. There’s no official word if we’ll see this item in the future patches or season, but if it does, try using it at least once before it gets Vaulted again.

Love or hate ‘em, mechs were controversial back when they were first released. This lead to some pretty interesting comments from both the fanbase and famous pro players alike. In fact, some people even went and made a petition to ban mechs from Fortnite because they were just too overpowering. The B.R.U.T.E. Mech was often abused by players and even went on to give some wins to people that had no skills in the game whatsoever. It was that powerful! Once this item was vaulted in Patch 11.0.0, the players were beyond ecstatic. We’ll most likely never see mechs in the future, lest Epic Games would like to start another chaotic riot from the community. It was fun to use them though, just not fun if you’re not the one using it.

There was a time when the Drum Gun was the weapon of choice of Fortnite players. And why wouldn’t it be? It was an extremely powerful Fortnite weapon—until Epic Games decided to nerf it to the ground to the point where even a common Assault Rifle was better. It wasn’t long after the nerf that they decided to Vault it. But during its prime, the Drum Gun was a weapon to be afraid of if paired with a skilled player.
