In 1999 Gouldman convened a 10cc line-up comprising himself, Fenn, Paul Burgess, and new recruits Mick Wilson (vocals, guitar) and Mike Stevens (vocals, keyboards, sax, guitar). This version of the band played their first gig at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in Birmingham and then began touring regularly in 2002.

The 80’s saw Mick learning his craft and playing in various bands in and around London, but eventually put down the bass and started performing and recording just as a vocalist. Mick’s love of song-writing and producing led to him securing a publishing deal with Jobete Music (the publishing arm of Motown Records) in 1986.

Nov 3, 2019 · Sean: Frontm3n certainly seem to have taken Germany by storm – you seem to tour their quite often and they seem to really have embraced what you’re doing. It’s a country that seems to have a real knack of picking up on good music and hanging on to it…. Mick: I don’t think it’s a knack really.
Mick Wilson lead vocals. As a vocalist and percussionist, Mick has performed with artists such as Lionel Ritchie, Kylie Minogue, Gary Barlow, Cher, Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith, Chris Rea, Smokey Robinson, Jessie J, Robin Gibb, Lulu, and the KLF. Mick was also honored to be a part of the band for Jeff Lynne’s ELO concert in London’s Hyde Park.
Jun 9, 2022 · There have been countless people in the 10cc lineup in the past few decades, and one definitely worth mentioning is Mick Wilson, who sang lead and backing vocals as well as playing rhythm guitar from 1999 to 2017, before he was replaced out in front by Iain Hornal.
