The key thing you will need to know is if you utilize an audio interface, make sure it is not your default Windows sound device. Which means that you don't get updates anymore, but other than in stupid software-as-a-service plans the version you have will not stop working. You bought it, you can keep it. It's just that sometimes the new stuff costs money.
