Open the cheats tab, then type 'traits.equip_trait GrimReaper', hit enter, and he'll be back to his usual Grim self. (*without the quotation marks, obviously) With Mods. Have MCCC installed, select any Sim on a lot, click on them and then click on the MCCC icon and go to 'Maintain Sim', then choose 'Kill Sim' and pick your method of death.
i added the reaper on a lot with an already existing family because the game won't let you edit in cas when you shift click on the grim reaper. i clicked "edit in cas" on another sim and edited the reaper from there. after editing, i removed the reaper from the family so that a new grim reaper wouldn't spawn in my save.
