Nov 8, 2022 · When you touch an app/icon and hold it a screen pops up offering "edit home screen". If you tap it, the icons wiggle and you can move them. You can also get the icons wiggling just by touching anywhere on the screen for a second or so. How can I turn this off so it does not do that - making icons wiggle just by touching screen? Thanks.

Jun 26, 2013 · About 2 am last night, we were awakened by the bedroom door rattling. My wife thought it was a mouse that she had seen a few times, scratching at the door. I turned on the flashlight & went to look, and the noise stopped as soon as I got near the door. I opened the door, & saw nothing. I dismissed it as being air currents, and went back to sleep.
Guy didn't just jiggle the door handle, but turned the knob and then pushed on the door quickly/forcefully in an attempt to open it. This is a more accurate description of what happened! Get one of those videos doorbells you can talk to people over. Not in the last month but over the years, yes.
So pop of the cover plate, there's a slot you stick a flat bladed screwdriver into (I think I see it at 2 o'clock), unscrew the knob and remove it. Then lube up the mechanism from the inside as well as along the bolt on the outside. Reassemble and screw down the 2 screw LOOSELY and try it, jiggle the knob if needed. It should operate freely.
Nov 26, 2020 · Take a Kwikset tool or a small slotted screwdriver and put it into the hollow end of the black plastic spindle/tailpiece, and you should be able to rotate it back & forth to the locked/unlocked positions. At the risk of sounding like a snob, buy a cheap lock, get cheap quality.
