Spock (son) Sybok (son) Michael Burnham (adoptive daughter) Sarek / ˈsærɛk / is a fictional character in the Star Trek media franchise. He is a Vulcan astrophysicist, the Vulcan ambassador to the United Federation of Planets, and father of Spock. The character was originally played by Mark Lenard in the episode "Journey to Babel" in 1967.

May 18, 2017 · Plus I see a slight curve to the ears. I still think she's part Vulcanoid (Vulcan or even Romulan) . Not full though. We'll find out this autumn. Hope to hell she's not another Spock sibling out of the blue like in STV. Say Sarek had a love affair or something while on a ship or Earth or what the fuck ever. I'd be annoyed.

Sarek chose Spock, who ironically would go on to reject the Vulcans' offer and join Starfleet himself. Sarek's decision, on the surface, might seem as cold and logical as any other Vulcan would make.
