Aug 9, 2022 · Over the weekend, Outfest Los Angeles celebrated the end of its 40th year with the premiere of Oscar-nominated writer John Logan’s film, They/Them. From Blumhouse and Peacock, They/Them (pronounced they-slash-them) is Logan’s directorial debut and stars Kevin Bacon, Theo Germaine, Quei Tann, Carrie Preston, Austin Crute and more.
The film was premiered at the Outfest film festival on July 24, 2022, and was released via streaming on Peacock on August 5, 2022. It received mixed reviews from critics, who complimented its inclusive cast and subject matter but found the execution of the story lacking.
