Far-Two8659. I feel like the NHL either needs to force AHL teams to be tied to an NHL team or provide huge cap leniency for teams whose AHL team goes independent. Or maybe even allow teams without AHL affiliation to play more than 18 players a game. Like you can replace 3 players total and can only change during intermission or something.
