Apr 11, 2007 · The THUG was conceptualized in December, 2008 and a NIB Colt, Series 70 Reproductions was off to MARS Armament, for Steve's THUG package. What most appealed to me was that this is a hard-use 1911, with a unitized plunger tube, and best parts utilized throughout.
Jun 14, 2008 · I'm wondering if any of you happen to have a Mars Armament 1911 T.H.U.G.1911. I remember reading about them first in a "Surefire Combat Tactics" (I think?), a while back. Any comments on quality, performance and/or cost would be greatly appreciated.
