This weekend will be a fun one for most of us, but in a family full of cops from different agencies, it turns into the inevitable p*ssing match of toughest academies, patrol beats, etc. I start next month, so I don't have an opinion that matters yet.

Jan 8, 2024 · California POST has a Basic Course Waiver (BCW) process for individuals who want to become California peace officers and have completed at least 664 hours of general law enforcement training (including a general law enforcement basic course of at least 200 hours), and have at least one year of successful sworn general law enforcement experience.
