Also in the subject of the email was the number of my Feedback case = the EU261 claim for canceled flight and long layover. Asking for ID Proof (passport or Driving Licence) and IBAN bank number.

Surprisingly about 5 weeks later the DOT sent me a response and a copy of a request they made to Lufthansa about my claim. Gave Lufthansa 30 days to get back to me and 60 days to resolve the issue. Surprisingly, Lufthansa sent me an email 32 days later coping the DOT. They agreed to pay for most of my claim and asked for my bank account info.
