An email came from: customer.relations@lufthansa.com - that seems legit. Also in the subject of the email was the number of my Feedback case = the EU261 claim for canceled flight and long layover. Asking for ID Proof (passport or Driving Licence) and IBAN bank number.
How can I tell if a Lufthansa email is a scam? After months of no follow up on compensation for delayed baggage on a flight, I get an email from the customer relations email address saying that they will give me a payment of X euros "without prejudice". They asked for my bank details, IBAN, and address. How can I be absolutely certain this is real?
