Permalink. MOUNTAIN FEVER is yet another cheap and poor independent-feeling production set mostly in a single room with badly staged direction and a lifeless feel to the proceedings. Apparently there was a flu pandemic that destroyed most of the world's population, leaving the survivors the usual feral bunch.

Mountain Fever plot. Europe is gripped by a deadly flu virus. Jack is a young man who lives in the Alps and is well prepared for the cold. The trouble starts when Kara breaks into his house. She wants his food supply, which has already shrunk considerably. When suddenly a group of sick people shows up at the door, Jack and Kara join forces.
Sometimes it may be easier to traverse the apocalypse alone. The world is in the midst of a killer flu epidemic (even the president is ill) and poor Jacques (Tom Miller) seeks retreat in his parents’ house in a mountain town in the middle of the Alps.
