Dec 27, 2023 · Departure times for the return boats are posted at Pier 33 and at the dock on Alcatraz. You can take any boat back, but don't miss the last one! Night Tours. The night tour runs Tuesday through Saturday, at 5:55 and 6:30 p.m, in summer, and lasts about 2.5 hours. Return boats leave Alcatraz at 8:40 and 9:25 pm.

Apr 27, 2021 · Weather. The weather on Alcatraz is unpredictable and liable to change unexpectedly, so be prepared by bringing along a light jacket or sweater no matter how nice the day starts out.
