Apr 21, 2023 · The Boardwalk Tram runs up and down Ocean City's famous boardwalk from the southern end near the inlet at the Atlantic Avenue South 1st Street Tram Station to the 27th Street Tram station at the north end. The tram runs from Springiest through the middle of October.

Before the Ocean City Boardwalk was established in 1910, beloved hotels and restaurants would lay out wooden boards for their customers to grant them closer access to the water. So, when you visit the boardwalk, you are not only rewarded with amazing views and delicious treats, but you are granted the opportunity to travel back in time.
The boardwalk is long! 2.45 miles to be exact. We know after a long day playing in the water you can be exhausted! At the southern end, it ends at the channel entrance to Assowoman Bay - can't miss it because you will have walked to it's physical end.
