The Diachronic Museum of Larissa is built on the hill "Mezourlo", on the city's southern outskirts near Larissa's ring road, in an area of 54 acres gradually given by the Municipality of Larissa to the Hellenic Ministry of Culture. The Museum was inaugurated on November 28, 2015 and is now open to the public.

Diachronic Museum of Larissa is the new archaeological museum of Larisa, dedicated to the history of Thessaly region. The museum is located in the new part of the city and the better way to get there is a taxi or a friend with a car.
