Aug 12, 2023 · I’ve got a 2019 F150 and a 2020 F150. There is a significant difference in the horns. The 2019 is very loud and aggressive whereas the 2020 sounds very weak compared to the other and sounds decently higher pitched. I did not know if this was normal or if may be I’ve got a bad horn.
Aug 23, 2021 · It appears that no one really knows the difference (other ford forums as well). Looking at a Ford level 3 horn, it "appears" that it may be dual horns in a single housing. (Two separate horns feeding into a single output). In a level 2 horn, each is replacable.
Jul 14, 2007 · A double horn is in F/Bb, we just think of the fingerings being different on each side of the horn. Beginners on a single Bb would just use the Bb fingerings as they would on the Bb side of a double horn.

Jun 18, 2020 · Triple Horn: Triple horns are primarily found in F, Bb, and F alto or sometimes F, Bb, and high Eb. Essentially, the triple horn combines the Double horn and Descant horn into one horn. Again, the triple horn allows for the player to access the higher range at a more manageable harmonic series.
Jul 21, 2021 · I don't see how this makes sense. The Bb horn is not "easier" than the F horn, it's just slightly different, sooner or later any horn player will have to learn fingerings for both sides of the horn
