Dec 16, 2013 · Black Flag was never a band that enforced the "rules of punk." Rather, Black Flag constantly swiped at the chains being wrapped around them. Not only is Ginn's choice to play the theremin daring and inventive, but it is an unexpected way of throwing off the shackles of the modern definition of punk.
