I assume it's long distance flight and missing it would not be good. If so, you'd have to leave Frankfurt about 9:30, giving you about 12 hours in Frankfurt, most of them sleeping. The area near the Frankfurt train station is only ok. A short walk away is Hotel Savigny.
Oct 22, 2018 · On my way to Croatia, I had a 9-hour layover in Frankfurt, Germany. That was more than enough time to venture out and explore the city, but I had no idea what I could possibly see because Frankfurt had never been on my radar.
You could do a quick visit to the Romerberg (old town centre) which has some authentic looking structures (although not all are original) as well as loads of tourist shops and restaurants. It's not very big and shouldn't take very long. The tourist office is also located there.
We have a 6.5 hour layover in between our flight to Frankfurt from Seattle before leaving on a 3:30 pm flight to Ljubljana. This will be a long day, and we wondered if it was feasible to leave the airport and go into the city, and if so for how long.
