  4. Apr 25, 2021 · 491 posts. I have passed through that airport literally at least 150 times and been to Frankfurt at least 30 or 40 times not counting when I lived in nearby Lieblos. On a bad day it can be a challenging place. I would discourage any temptation to leave the airport for such a short layover.
