There are some "LOL" moments in this book, too - or maybe it's just that I see myself here and there and find some of my thinking pretty absurd as seen through Brown's narrative. Brown is an intelligent writer - this book is good just on the merit of being good writing. It's an enlightening, easy read and well worth the time.

What Was I Thinking? is an interesting read. I learned some very good concepts upon reading this book. Only negative is that the last quarter of the book was a bit boring. The things I learned from this book made it worth sharing with others.

“Steve Brown is a mature Christian who has not stopped growing in his thinking. In this book, he shares insights from life and Scripture, which will greatly benefit any reader.” – Tony Campolo, PhD, Author, Professor Emeritus at Eastern University, St. Davids, PA
"What was I Thinking" is a hugely entertaining overview of I've always enjoyed Paul's opinions and his intolerance, and the fact that he's not afraid to speak his mind - but having read his book, I've discovered that he's also done a huge amount of impressive things in his life, travelled extensively and has a heap of great stories to tell.

I’m currently reading a book by Steve Brown titles What Was I Thinking? Things I’ve Learned Since I Knew It All. Brown’s books are wonderful. Like me, he is a conservative Christian who believes in the inspiration of Scripture. Doctrinally, I think we are fairly similar. Yet, his writing takes you to new levels of reflection.

I saw this book in Oprah mag. As we all know, usually anything Oprah brings up is usually something worthwhile. The title caught my eye, and thought the book would have some funny stories. Boy, was I wrong. Ive read about half of the book, and refuse to pick it back up. The stories are lame and boring. Please dont waste you money or your time.
