Nov 07, 2006 · To my knowledge there still does not exist any evidence nor first-hand record of William Sidis’ IQ score. Nevertheless, no known adult IQ test can measure with reasonable accuracy above approximately 140-150 today (99.9%+-), and none existed in the 1940s.
I have done some research into William James Sidis, there are few things that needs to be taken into account. Firstly Sidis was estimated to have an IQ of between 250-300. That places him with highly cognative abilities. At 11 he was lecturing at Havard. He had passed the MIT entrance exams at 8.
The IQ though not officially certified but theoretically assumed was William James Sidis having said to have an IQ of 250–300.. You can say he was a math geek, as I can be, considering that's one of my gifts!
It is interesting to consider how Rosenberg perceives Sidis as a fellow trivialist, and how Sidis antedated Rosenberg's generation two score years or more. It is also interesting to correlate Rosenberg's publish date of 1970 with Pirsig's first publication of ZMM in 1974.
