Light fulfilled the contract, and then he was free. No way he was going to give them another masterpiece. I understand it's not his best work by any means, but as a light, straight forward, and fun rap album, it's honestly pretty good. I'd take Light over many mainstream albums.

Feb 11, 2017 · Drogas Light (released February 10, 2017) It’s hard being a Lupe Fiasco fan in 2017. It was all good 10 years ago. Lupe’s first two releases – 2006’s Food & Liquor and 2007’s The Cool – still hold up as two of the greatest rap releases of the past decade.
