  3. Sep 1, 2010 · Karl Bohm was a very fine conductor and the Vienna Philharmonic doesnt need any introductions. Also, the repertoire presented here (a concert from the 1969 Salzburg Festival), with Beethoven, Mahler and Schumann, surely is well known (to say the least) by both orchestra and conductor, so it is no wonder the performances should be, in the worst case, at least good.
