Other Italic languages did too, to an extent, but are not as well attested as we’d like. We can’t even say we could give a full treatment of Oscan or Umbrian today. Similar is true for Continental Celtic languages. So beyond a certain point the in-depth knowledge of these branches relies heavily on Latin and Insular Celtic.
