Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, known professionally as Tom Cruise, is an American actor, producer, and television director. Some of his best known film roles include Ethan Hunt in the Mission: Impossible franchise (which he also produced), the titular character of the 1996 sports comedy-drama film Jerry Maguire, and Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in the 1986 action film Top Gun and its 2022 sequel Top Gun: Maverick.
For Disney, he played Vincent Lauria in the 1986 Touchstone Pictures film The Color of Money and Brian Flanagan in Cocktail. He was also mentioned in the Lizzie McGuire episodes "Misadventures in Babysitting" and "In Miranda Lizzie Does Not Trust", The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, the Hannah Montana episode "Wherever I Go", and the What If...? episode "What If... Thor Was an Only Child?".
