Ali Mahmoud founded Alpha Lambda Mu at the University of Texas at Dallas in February 2013. At the time Mahmoud was a nineteen-year-old junior; he is also a first-generation Egyptian-American.

Founded: 1982 Texas A&M University (College Station, TX) Sigma Alpha Mu has been present at Texas A&M as the Gamma Kappa chapter since 1980 and has been growing ever since recolonizing in 2003.
The city was first made over by Fondren Park (in Harris County), near US 90A, in the early 1960s, followed by Quail Valley, along Cartwright Road between Texas Parkway and Murphy Road, in the late 1960s.
